Steve Schueth (pronounced “sheeth”) is president of First Affirmative Financial Network, an independent Registered Investment Advisor offering portfolio management and consulting services for socially conscious individuals and mission-driven institutional investors. He leads the team that produces the premier annual conference for investors and investment professionals working to direct the flow of investment capital in more positive, healthy, transformative ways, The SRI Conference on Sustainable, Responsible, Impact Investing—the largest and oldest such gathering of investors and investment professionals in North America. A financial services professional for over 35 years, Schueth has been a nationally recognized authority, consultant, and resource to the responsible investment industry since 1989. His background includes thirteen years with First Affirmative; eight years in senior management with Calvert Investments, including four years as President of Calvert Distributors; and eleven years as a director of US:SIF - the Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investing. In the late 1980s, prior to Calvert, he served for three years as Director of Development at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He received the annual SRI Service Award in 1998. Separately, Schueth serves as a director of two non-profit organizations, the Alliance for Sustainable Colorado, and the Americans for Nonsmokers Rights Foundation.
